He is President and CEO of Terry Funeral Home, Inc. Prior to that he was Vice President of Operations for Millennium Services Corp., in New York, NY, from 1997-1999. From 1991-1997 he was Vice President and General Manager of Hooper Funeral Home, Inc., in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. |

A native of New York, New York, he earned an AS Degree from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Georgia and received a BA Degree in business management from Morehouse College. |

He is founder, President, & CEO of the Burrell Group, LLC. Founded in 1999, the Burrell Group, LLC provides funeral home management and consulting services.

|
Mr. Burrell is a member of Monumental Baptist Church where he serves as Chair of the Trustee Ministry. He is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.and Morehouse College National Alumni Association. He serves as Vice Chairman of Budget and Finance and Treasurer of the Board of Managers for the West Philadelphia YMCA. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Guardsmen, Quaker State Funeral Directors Association, Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity and the National Funeral Directors Association. He holds
funeral directors and embalmers, licenses in the states of North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
