The National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc. announces the transition of Ms. Elizabeth “Denise” Overstreet Guillory, friend of the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc.
The National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc. sincerely sympathizes with the Overstreet-Guillory Family. May God continue to watch over you all. We give you this one thought to keep, "Although it's difficult today to see beyond sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow."
Elizabeth “Denise” Overstreet Guillory departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Liz was office manager at Hall Davis and Son Funeral Services for twenty plus years. She was born on April 9, 1956, to the late Nias Overstreet, Jr. and Chardia Louise Mason Overstreet. Denise was united in holy matrimony to Charles “Charlie” Patrick Guillory on November 30, 1974. Together, they shared many years of love, commitment, and devotion until his passing.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving and devoted daughter, Mitzi Danita Guillory; her sister, Marva Louise Overstreet Jolivette; her sister-in-love, Cynthia Lewis Overstreet; her devoted friend, Russell Banks; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
