Kyle P. Ledford Sr, MA, CFSP owns and manages - Ledford Funeral Home, Inc., Trenton, NJ which he founded nearly 20 years ago. Additionally, Kyle is the Program Director for Funeral Service Education at Eastwick College, Hackensack, New Jersey. A New Jersey native, he graduated from Hampton University,

Hampton, Virginia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Guidance & Counseling and Human Resources from Montclair State University. Kyle is also a graduate of the McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York, New York and holds an Employment Law certification from Rutgers University. After receiving his Funeral Director & Embalming license in New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Kyle formerly managed a Newark, New Jersey based funeral home for several years. Shortly thereafter, he and his family relocated to Trenton, New Jersey and opened Ledford Funeral Home in the historic Chambersburg section of Trenton.

In addition to Funeral Service Kyle’s diverse interest have led him into Real Estate and Corporate America, where he retired as a Human Resources Administrator for a New Jersey based supermarket cooperative providing leadership and counsel in the areas of Human Resources, Organizational Development and Strategic Planning.

In November 2005, Kyle was selected as one of the Top 20 under 40 Movers and Shakers by the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and the Trentonian Newspaper.

Kyle often utilizes his extensive knowledge in both the funeral service and corporate America to deliver presentations, seminars, and workshops for the funeral service industry nationally and internationally.

Kyle also founded #mentorwithme, an international funeral service mentoring program for licensed professionals, interns, students, and persons of interest. Kyle’s dedicated service in the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association currently includes:
